In order to fulfil our own expectation of fair trade business, we did plan
two projects that will get our support to make them become true. This is part of
our CSR strategy which is also part of our "mission Bilqis" that is implemented
in our corporate philosophy.
- Education is the main issue that can help societies to move away from
hopeless future without a secured income or even a chance to become
employed. We would like to build a Kindergarten and Ground School Camp in
Sana'a by 2011 to provide the children with needed education in their
sensitive age to make them grow up being aware about how to perceive chances
becoming aware of the importance of education and study by offering special
teaching models to them by qualified and trained teaching team.
- In addition to the development of social competence, sport participation
can help youth develop other forms of self-competence. Paramount among these
self-competencies is self-esteem. Self-esteem is how we judge our worthiness
and indicates the extent to which an individual believes her/himself to be
capable, significant, successful and worthy (Coopersmith, 1967). Educators
have suggested that one of the biggest barriers to success in the classroom
today is low self-esteem. That why PR-ofession will be supporting sport
activities for youth in form of a sport centre by 2011. Participation in
sport extends the learning of social competence by teaching children to
cooperate with their team mates and opponents as well as abide by the rules
and increase understanding of the value of cooperation.
To realize these projects we will launch a Fund by June 2009. We will
transfer 10% of PR-ofessions yearly net income to this Fund. Profession will
provide both projects with full Marketing instruments and Public Relation
service local and international to make the realization possible.
